Mr Pink

Jorrit Pinckaers, born in 1980, gets addicted to dance music during his highschool period. Starting off with early rave and house, his interest for electronical music quickly broadens. In 1998, his first year of study in the city of Utrecht, he buys his first turntable setup; the start of endless “dormroom sessions”. Throughout the following years he plays several styles, from trance and hardhouse to club and techno. His first performances for an audience are at several bars and student parties around Utrecht. In 2006 things started to get more serious and during that year Jorrit, performing as "Mr Pink", wins a DJ-contest at the “Talentenbeurs” and joins the crew of “Movement Agency”.In 2007 Mr Pink gets his first official bookings and the opportunity to perform at several clubs and stages in the Netherlands. During this year he gains a lot of experience in playing for larger audiences and becomes one of the resident DJ's of the "Twisted Cultures" parties. Mr Pink's sets are a blend of house, minimal, techhouse and techno, varying from deep and warm to uplifting, funky and percussive tracks.
