Figured I should update this: Well things have been awesome. Right after I graduated from BSC in May 06 I went to Americorps*NCCC in the southeast region. So for the past 9 months I have been on a team(RED 3!-The shims) of 10 people. We have been traveling in our 15 passenger van, named Pat through out the south workin at various non-profits. We went to ashville, nc to work on restoring one of the first african american cemeteries, then went to New Orleans gutting and doing mold removal at a wonderful place called Hands On. Next we went to Louisiana/Mississipp where we got certified as type 2 fire fighters doing control burn! Our last project is in Charleston, Sc at Windsor Elementery school. Sadly my times with americorps will be done May 1st. I'm goin to miss my team and I have not yet begun to realize all the shit I've learned. So I'll be home in Worcester for the summer real soon, then hopefully movin to boston in Sept.
