About Me

Myspace EditorSELF-POTRAIT IN THE LOCKER ROOM AFTER SUPER BOWL XVI (Detroit, 1982).. width="425" height="350" ..As for me? I'm your basic, Left-Handed, Californian, Italian, born on Valentine's Day. By basic, I mean, 1 of a kind. A: always B: be C: creating Always Be Creating I'm defiantly a highly creative, competitive, optimistic individual who loves to laugh at myself, and at you. I have a hundred friends that know exactly who I am, deep within my soul, and I couldn't be happier about it. I'm someone who can call my mom at 11pm on a Saturday night, and tell her to check out the new Gnarls Barkley video, knowing she'll enjoy it. I spent the first 30yrs in Northern California, growing up a few minutes from Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco, and benefited greatly from that experience, both culturally, and spiritually. I write everyday, I photograph life (not nearly to the extent that I desire), I draw, paint, sketch, build, construct, and sculpt, with the hope that something I have created will outlive me. I am in awe of others who have successfully had their work outlive their short time here; Leonardo DaVinci, Pablo Picasso, Michelangelo, Edgar Allen Poe, Alfred Stieglitz, Ansel Adams, Paul Strand, Edward Steichien, Herb Riis, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, and Bob Marley have all expressed themselves in a ways that have inspired me, and challenged me to create as much as I can, while I can. Sadly, I have hindered my own progress through several bouts of procrastination. But, when I have procrastinated, it's usually because I am spending time with the people that mean the most to me.

I'd like to meet:

If I make it to heaven and can't host a dinner with Sam Kinison, Jim Morrison, Leonardo DaVinci, Edgar Allen Poe, John Lennon, Bob Marley, Chris Farley, John Belushi, Ronnie Lott, Bill Walsh, Phil Hartman, Steve Martin, Pablo Picasso, my Grandma Corrine, Chris Boyle and E.J., and God herself, then I will immediately sign my soul over to the damned for all eternity... maybe. This "dream feast" will be over-flowing with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Italian Chianti, caprese', 20 different cheeses, 8 different Mediterranean olives, 15 different pork products (mosty salami e' prosciutto varieties), and Rustic Italian bread.

If E.T. phoned me, I'd hang up.

In the early eighties many children... including bullies, punks, troublemakers, and hard-core delinquents... cried during E.T.  I wouldn't be ashamed to admit it, had I joined them.&nb...

Wake me up before I go go

I had a dream that I won a deadly game of Russian roulette, but then promptly choked to death on the victory-sandwich that was set aside for the surviving contestant....

Why NINERFAITHFUL?

More From Grandma Corinne
