I am a hopeless Romantic, I am a good listener, Tenderhearted, and giving. I am a Gemini and a dreamer. If you are any of the above, please let me hear from you. Good friends with the same interests are hard to find. My interests are very diverse, as you can tell by looking at my page. But I do tend to lean towards the mystical, magical, and fokeloreishness that I can draw out of each day. My friends tell me that I could have been a councelor or a psychic, lol, but that stems from the fact that I really listen to a person when they are pouring out their soul to me. I have always loved "imaginary?" characters like fairies, dragons, wizards, the tooth fairy, and yes, I do still beleive in the spirit of Santa Claus, and Gnomes! So, don't ever try to convince me otherwise. Yes, I do beleive that there is life on other planets. If there isn't, it would sure be a great waste of space, wouldn't it? But, then I also love abnormal physcology and love to try to figure out the lives of serial killers. I have a great many books on the subject. I am Bi-Polar, so that in itself makes me a little abnormal mentally and emotionally and I guess that has just led me to wonder what makes the mind really tick, you know? I have a truly wonderful and gifted family. Richard, my husband, and Matthew and Chelsea, my children, never fail to amaze me with thier wit and charm and caring for other people. God has truly blessed me in that area. I am one who does not believe in prejudice in any shape or form. That is one of my biggest pet peves and a trait that I have tried to pass on to my children. And, so far I think it has worked for the most part. I am a believer in the Save the Manatees Foundation started by Jimmy Buffet many years ago, and also of trying to save the baby white harp seals that are killed solely for their coats. Also, to save the age old sea turtles who are attacked with only their feet taken as aphrodisiacs and then left to die. For the most, part they are older than anyone living as adults and they deserve our respect. I guess I'm just a mush at heart..... I am a very spiritual person too. One that knows that God is the higher power that keeps our lives flowing and blessed and helps us through the hard times. I believe that the spirits of family and friends who have passed on come to visit us and bring us comfort. I have witnessed it too many times to beleive otherwise. And, there are without any doubt, our guardian angels who watch over us daily and guide our lives. Well that's about me in a nut shell, I guess. How do you sum up your life and all you beleive in just a few paragraphs anyway. Impossible! But it's a start.....
