About Me

WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY and the Escuelita Continental Pageantry System. Escuelita has been entertaining the LGBT club community for over 20 years with the best in female impersonation and sexy male entertainment. We are host to the MR. ESCUELITA CONTINENTAL pageant (Go-Go Boy of the Year) and MISS ESCUELITA CONTINENTAL pageant (for transgenders, transsexuals and drag queens). In April 2005, we crowned the Caribbean princess TYRA ALLURE ROSS as our seventh Miss Escuelita Continental and the Philadelphia born USHER was crowned our third Mr. Escuelita Continental July 2007. We are proud to reign in NYC as having the premiere gay club experience and look forward to many more years on top!!

Miss Continental was started in 1980 to provide an avenue for professional female impersonators to compete for a national title. Mr. Continental was added to the Labor Day schedule in 2003. Escuelita provides a Continental prelim in the New York area for the winners to be able to compete for the Mr. or Miss Continental national title.
