Vinterspår/Identity/ 2010
Soundinstallation in Lindesberg, Sweden, 6-7 february 2010. The peace is specially composed for the sculpture "Identity" by Kajsa Forsberg, an textile-artist living in Lindesberg. I recorded the words "I am, you are, we are, How are you? and Hello", in different languages and in many ways like whispering, shouting, talking, very slowly etc. Then I mixed it, so you sometimes could hear one language, with the other languages laying in the background waiting for there turn. The installation was near the water by the litte lake "Lindesjön", in the city center.
Vinterspår/Signs of Winter/ 2009
Soundinstallation in Lindesberg, Sweden, 7-8 february 2009. The peace is specially composed for the sculpture "Bild in Raum" by Rainer Hickisch. The sound was recorded on the place where the sculpture is standing, the very cold sunday 16 of januari 2009. The sounds trigger 8 clocks tuned in A and C in different octaves. The installation is near the water by the litte lake "Lindesjön", in the city center.
The Spring is here! Huraaa!/ 2009
Soundinstallation in Lindesberg, Sweden, 7-8 february 2009. The sounds come from a picnick-table 50 meters out in the litte lake "Lindesjön" on a landing stage.
In Indialand/ 2008
A soundscape composition specially composed for an Indian Festival in The Old Town Stockholm. The sounds is recorded in the most holy of all Hindu towns - Varanasi - situated by Ganges.
The soundscape is a 45 minutes surround installation with 8 chanels. This stereo-version is an excerpt and is recorded 6 oclock in the morning by the the main ghat at Ganges, where the morning ceremony take place every day of the year. Lots of pilgrimmes are there, and they drink an bath and pray to the Hindu gods.
I used this stereoversion in a soundinstallation the 7-8 februari 2009 in a litte swedish town called Lindesberg. I built a Hindu chapel far out in the water on a landing stage called "The church landing stage".
People living in Varanasi, make their morning toalett in the dirty but holy water.
Och Furioso / 2007
This is music-illustration (filmmusic) inspired by a poem of Eva B. Magnusson, Lindesberg. She is reading the poem on this recording (in Swedish). Eva has received several prises. Most welknown is the "Stig Carlson-priset", 2005. Eva wrote this poem after the Sunnami accident.
All sounds come from my grand piano except the voice and the cricket. I met the cricket one august night on a farmyard outside the swedish town Flen. He or she sat playing in the grass - she was alone and played for me so long I couldn..t stay to hear the end of the consert.
Flutebirds/ 2007
I thought of the sound of birds I hear when I am in the country. When I hear their sounds over the lake or when the fly over my cottage in V-formations in the autumns, leaving Sweden for warmer countries. All sounds come from a cheap flute bought in Marocko.
En vanlig Bergman, tack! / A common Bergman, please!!/ 2007
When I heard that Ingmar Bergman was dead, I felt that I had lost a friend that I had never talked to. This is my first and only telephone call with Bergman - two days after his dead.
Played a week after Bergmans dead at the "Vågformsfestival" in Gävle, Sweden.
It..s raining on my roof/Det regnar in / 2007
It..s midsummer in Sweden. You have eat and drinked a lot. You are together with friends in the coundtry, where it..s totally quit. You can hear the flyis (flugorna) walking on the window. Your bed is in a yarn with a roof af steel. It..s warm and wonderful. Then the rain starts - and this is the concert you hear.
Vintersymfoni / 2009
This is a continum of the soundscape " SIGNS OF WINTER". The song is divided into four parts, and has the form of a symphoni.
