It all started at the beginning of the new millenium, when Jorge Alepta Thavael de Thera started to build up his own little imperium.
Once made out of an ueber optimistic and kind of childish idea, Mental Industries Inc. started to grow and over the years, more an more, MIInc became part of the subcultural life in south Styria.
JAT started to DJ and host events in 2001/2002 on several most private spots in and around Graz. The years went by and he did something new:
An absolutely new style clubbing: The French Cold Party Club Lounge.
Once the new member at that time, Cole Black, who joined MIInc in 2004, was supposed to host that event. Unfortunately Black fell into a period of deep depression and so Pilatus joined the group to host the "French Cold Party Lounge".
Autumn 2004: JAT and Dr.Winter met each other for an evening long and full of conversation. The result: Dr.Winter became the second of two important parts, that keep MIInc./MassenwareRecords together.
Autumn 2005: First Strike by Cole Black. The so called "Department:Industrial" - Clubseries started in September and was supposed to be the new monthly endurance soundforcewhitehouseaggrepop-club in Graz. Unfortunately the club "After Dark", closed its portals in February 2006 and so The famous "D:I" lost its home, after being homebase for subcutural music, eclectic styles and art for only 6 months.
At this time Pilatus played his first evening filling endurance set at Vipers in Graz. Month after month, Pilatus worked on his special type of atmosphere and sound selection.
Regular clubbings with Pilatus at "Feinkost Royal Club" and his kind character brought him attention of other artists such as G.Rizo (Gigolo/Codek Rec., NYC), who invited him personally to play in Vienna at "the Art Klub" in May 2007. Pilatus also got invited to play at the famous 5th Anniversary of g24.at party the same month, where he played one of his rare fetish electro sets.
Times changed and Cole Black entered the Maschinenraum 2 for the first time. Two years later he is still working on material to be finished and hopefully released soon. In 2007 he did vocals for a related band to him called "Le Tam Tam" and is now preparing for playing Live in front of an audience.
