Born June 13, 1985, Dj Mello Yello journey's has been one vast and cerebral. With a raw talent to hear rhythm's and melodies that grab one's attention, he saught after more equipment then what he had at his disposal ( A ps1, mtv music generator, and a output going to a tape recorder). Years later, he's digging through crates of vinyl and chopping samples like his predecessors before his time. He believes whole-heartedly in the revival of Hip-hop's essence which he has found in the appreciation of legendary artist and producers that came before him. Using his laptop, motu, mpc, microkorg, and various other instruments and equipment, Mello Yello seeks to find refuge from the modern days depiction of what hip-hop stands for. He believes in change, but only for the good.
