The Tories

This lonely heart of mine!

About Me

Culled together through the diehard love of life, music and the pursuit of good times, this electic group of friends coined as "The Tories".The Tories sounded like a cross between The Beatles, Small Faces, and The Jam. In the mid-80's the band revved from a declining Mod scene and became the California masters of Frat-Rock, Touring from Newportbeach and the Balboa area to Berkeley and Arizona. Tunes like Valerie, Drinkin', This lonely heart of mine where some of the original songs most requested by the audience. Cover song "Hang on Sloopy" was one of the best studio recorded song on the early Tories demos, along with other 19 tracks. Their shows ended up being legendary drunken teen parties and the band blasted everything imaginable from cover tunes to originals.V4.4
