I create eco-friendly, mixed media canvas and furniture w/whimsical, inspirational, spiritual, sensual and political themes. In an effort to help preserve Mother Earth I collect magazines from friends & collage' them into my art and paint w/non-toxic, water-based acrylics. Most furniture is found in yard sales, flea markets or rescued from the side of the road. I paint by commission, participate in local art festivals and pay it forward by volunteering for "Chairish the Future", benefitting the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. One of a kind art chairs are created by local & national artists then auctioned at the annual "Chairish the Future" Gala Auction. The Furniture Bank provides essential household furnishings to previously homeless families, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, refugees/immigrants, women fleeing domestic violence, survivors of natural disasters, and children transitioning out of foster care.
