I'm interested in working on and creating comics. I like art, theatre, music, movies, and just walking around seeing interesting things.I like to read, mostly sci-fi, and mysteries.I like to take care of my kids. Being a depedable and responsible person, let alone a role model is a very sobering experience.Mainly I just want to be a succesful person.
Interesting people with good hearts and a love for conversation. Also people interested in talking about or working on comics would be pretty keen.Anyone looking for a penciler who can ink his own work?MySpace Comments

just about anything that gets put out or I find. I like Rockabilly, Link Wray, Robert Gordon, Chris Isaak, that sort of thing. But, I also like heavy metal, rock, hip-hop, punk, and classical. NIN, Fugazi, Bad Religion, NOFX, Pennywise, Nelly, just all kinds of stuff. My real preference is anything that gets me moving!!
Geez...I like all types of movies, all genres. I really like the twisted dark ones, like Sixth Sense, Stir of Echoes, those kinds of movies. But i like alot of Sci-Fi. I like the good comic movies like Spider-Man, and Sin City. I also like well done animated movies, like Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. Also big fan of horror movies, like the original Tobe Hopper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Tod Browning's Freaks.BUT, my favorite movie of all time is a toss up, between Rear Window, Se7en, and King Kong.I'm also a softie for the romantic flicks, but not your mainstream fare. I like the screwy quirky ones. Among these are two of my faves... Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which epitomizes what a real relationship is, and Garden State, it's just so raw and pure. I love 'em.
I like some television. I like crime shows, and comedies. I don't really like "reality tv", but, I have to admit that some of them catch my interest.
I read alot. Mostly comic books. Trade paperbacks and graphic novels. I also read other stuff. I like Micheal Criton, Dean Koontz. I like reading Philip K. Dick, who wrote Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, which Bladerunner was based on. He also wrote Minority Report, Imposter, among a myriad of others. He's twisted wacky. I like re-reading books that i've read before knowing how unadventurous that sounds. Like Steven King's IT, possibly his best early work. Clockwork Orange is beautifully written. I like reading noir tales too. Raymond Chandler and Jim Thompson are really good writers. I'm into beautiful sweeping epics as well as poignant personal tales.
Wow, Heroes? If I had to chose two, they would be: Frank Miller. He is the creator behind the Sin City series. He started out in humble beginnings, just writing. Then he started writing and drawing Daredevil. At 24 he changed the character and made it a number one seller, something it hadn't been in years. Then he penciled and wrote The Dark Knight Returns. This wasn't simply a comic series, it was a piece of literature. Again, he reached critical acclaim. Then, a few years later he turned the comics world on it's ear again, with Sin City, a hard-boiled noir tale of nihlism and revenge with art that could leap of the page and shake you around. He has done what I hope to do, become a legend in my own time. My other hero, is my wife, Rachel. She has endured so much in her life, and has come out the other end with such a miraculous spitit and dertermination it is nothing short of inspiring. Everyday I know her helps me grow a little more. She is a mother of two, and a full time student, going into pre-med. She is a devoted daughter, sister, friend, community leader and humanitarian. Is it any surprise i'm in love with this girl!!
