Robert Johnson

I have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old and have pretty much taught myself. For years I listened to nothing but obscure Blues men such as Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson (who I was named after), Howlin Wolf and the like. My tastes have broadened massively in the past few years, most recentlly to embrace all forms of electronica. I have a great love of Techno and Drum an Bass, but what really floats my boat is the kind of dirty, sexy electronica produced by Death in Vegas and David Holmes amongst others. My Eclectic tastes have led me in all sorts of musical directions. I now play the Banjo, Mandolin and am currentlly getting my head around the Drums. My aim with this slightly ropey electronica is to produce a blend of sampled and programmed computer sounds mixed in with traditional instrumentation such as Guitar, Bongo and Keyboards. I'm aiming for a touch of Soul and Funk mixed with the occassional foray into Techno and Drum an Bass.
