How about Medium, Dark and Handsome? :)

About Me

33/M living in the North County in San Diego. I have a 15 year old son who I spend as much time with as I can. I'm honest to a fault, genuine, loyal...no BS, and no games. I've always been extremely shy and I'm trying to break out of that. Life's too short.
I'm a bit of a computer nerd. I like video games :) I have always loved music too. From the time I was six, a song would come on the radio and my Dad would ask, "BLT, who's that?" and I could immediately rattle off the name of the band and the song. To this day I still have to identify the songs I hear. I couldn't live without music. When I hear a song I love, I feel it in my soul, and the hair on my whole body stands up.
As much as I love the music, I'm SO tired of the club/bar scene. Been there, done that...didn't work. I think we all have. I guess it's a sign I'm getting older.
Personally and politically, I am fairly traditional and conservative..but don't worry, I'm just kinky enough where it counts :)
Send me a message if you want to chat or meet out for a beer sometime. I need to get out of the house more!
You Are a Prophet Soul
You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.
You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.
Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking for new friends, male or female..and I'm always looking for that special lady that I will spend the rest of my life with. Whether I find her here or not, who knows? I've also come accross some old friends here who I haven't talked to in years, and been able to keep in touch with others better than before.

Music:

Hmmm...where to start?

I love so many different kinds of music.
Classic Rock, Alternative, New Wave, Metal, Funk, Soul, Progressive House, Trance, Salsa, Rockabilly, Punk, Classical, Swing, Big Band..I'm sure there are a few more out there too.

My favorite band of all time is Oingo Boingo. Their stuff was mostly goofy, but they were the most talented musicians ever, especially Danny Elfman. The man can probably pick up any instrument in the world and play it, well. Not to mention an amazing vocal range. I'm a little out of the loop with the most recent music since I'm hooked on political talk radio, but my favorite current band is 3 Doors Down (In case you couldnt tell already). I also like Linkin Park, Disturbed and a few others. Trance is one of my favorites because it's just a feel good music. No matter how bad I feel, Trance can lift my spirits. While writing this, I think I figured out why I love Classic Rock so much too. I think it reminds me of a short period in my childhood when I actually felt like a kid. Music has played a huge roll in my life and has been like a friend that helped me through the toughest and the best times. I couldn't live without it.

Movies:

Too many to list but I love Thrillers, Romantic Comedies, Action, Comedy, Martial Arts Films, and anything Danny Elfman does the music for. If I reply to something with some oddball comment, it's probably a movie quote.

A few of my faves are: Gladiator, Old School, SWAT, Weird Science, Eurotrip, the American Pie series, Deuce Bigalow, Tombstone, Jim Carrey flicks, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, A Walk in the Clouds, The Matrix, Groundhog Day, Back to School, Big Trouble in Little China, Star Treks, The Whole Nine Yards, Blade, Batman Begins, There's Something About Mary, Spiderman, Amelie' (even though I hate just about everything French), She's the One, MIB, LoTR, Beetlejuice, Black Hawk Down, Rudy, Fools Rush In, Spaceballs, Jackie Chan flicks, Shallow Hal, Can't Hardy Wait, Nightmare Before Christmas, What Women Want, The 3 Musketeers, Meet the Parents/Fockers, The Goonies, The Brat Pack movies, Terminators, Conans, Grumpy/Grumpier Old Men, PCU...just to name a few :P

Television:

UFC
CSI
The Dead Zone
Star Trek
Friends
Whose Line is it Anyway?

Books:

Politics (Sean Hannity, etc.)
Horror/Thrillers (Dean Koontz, Stephen King)
Religion/Philosophy
Language/Culture
Chinese Martial Arts
Nerdy Reference Books

Heroes:

Thank you to all of the men and women out there putting your lives on the line for my freedom. You will never be forgotten or taken for granted. Freedom is never free.
