The Elephant riders formed about 5yrs ago in a little place called Shippensburg,PA. We started out with just 4 players and have grown to about 19. Our symbol was created from Two sources, the shield and emblem is from the band Clutch,(song and Album Elephant Riders), and the 69th infantry came from another band called the Dropkick Murphy’s,(song The Fighting 69), so sorry to bust every-one's bubble who thought it was the sexual position!!!, we have actual meaning behind it! They were also both units in the civil war.
We started playing on El Jefe's Uncle's farm! We eventually tried our hand at a real game; witch happened to be at Skirmish PA., the first game was D-Day 04'. That led us to finding ourselves an actual home field. We came across Back Creek Paint ball in Chambersburg PA. They agreed to have us as their sponsored Woods ball Team. They are now closed and we are all very saddened by this, we will eventually find a new field to call home in the near future, we have also became a member of the GWM witch played Germans in all the big games up at Skirmish. It had a lot of different woods ball teams combined into a giant super team that usually dominated in every event we played, witch is also gone now.=( We are now going to try different fields, and learn there terrain.
