Hard grooves, Tight beats, with a melodic front-drop
Lyrically our music deals with alot of "Certain" possibilities and underlying tones of social stabilities in human existance. Don't expect to hear any of my sad childhood stories and "really relate to this one song." or about my first "true love", who ripped my heart out.
There are already millions of other bands out giving you your fill in the "Heart" deFartment, we're gonna work on your dome piece. Our Minds have unbelievable potential and Passages most are too scared to explore. Your hearts way over worked and under paid. Give'em a break! As history has Taught us, a Heart is no good without a Mind and Vice Versa. Otherwise we would never have completely ignorent ideas like war, persecution, slavery, rape, or murder.
That craps over! Sieze the fact your past is gone! Don't dwell on it. To dwell is to live in, and what you live in, consumes you. There's no dwelling aloud when experiencing HeadBelt, only reminiscing. Now don't quote me wrong. I can hear someone now under their breath, "Dumbass, if you forget your past your doomed to repeat it,Der." I didn't say forget, I said dwell. I really hate that saying too. I think the fact that someone actually had to ever state that, only pushed us further back Mentally. It's a good thing someone was clever enough to manifest that statement (As the sarcasm thickens) or I would have stepped in that same steaming pile-o-poo twice. Why would I want to do that! It should be like breathing people, never dwell.
So HeadBelt is not about the past. HeadBelt isn't even about the present. Past and Present are ficticious spaces of time that do not exist anymore. Yes they did exist and need to be remembered and celebrated, but not glorified. How can I say the present doesn't exist, you query. It's only fact, because one second from right now no longer exists. And you can't bring that second back to life. It's gone. Oh, there goes another. All you have is the future. Most people are so scared of death, they can't think about the future unless it has to do with their career or vacation. Which is not a bad thing, I do both. But theres so much more, I can feel it. I challenge you to come out to a show if you really want your Mind boggled. I'll be there. I'll be the one facing the front row, hawking letters and spitting syllables in your face.

I also have a degree in computer animation and graphic design in which I don't even use. And I'm now in school to become a Massage Therapist. This will allow me to not have to work quite so much so I can spend more time on my music. Passing the time until I can play music fulltime.
