Dj Marvel hails from the city of wind, Chicago, Il. A gifted turntablist, he has done numerous showcases and battles. His skills have allowed him to grace the stage with the likes of Qbert, Pitbull, Frankie J, Play N Skills, Digital Underground, Richard Humpty Vission, Dj P, Danny the Wildchild, Dj X, Raymond Roker, Dj Scene, Dj Spider, Jay Dhabi, X-ecutioners as well as many other performers. From the tablist scene Dj Marvel wanted to expand his audience and brand, his focus switched to party rocking. Long before the mash up explosion he and is dj partner Dj Hex started performing 4 turntable sets at local parties and clubs in the DFW area. Combining hip hop, retro, rock, dnb and turntablism they quickly became some of the areas most talked about djs. After parting ways with Dj Hex, Marvel took on the club scene full force with the Mixxsquad, whose members included Dj Groove, Dj Nvs and Jammin Joe. They not only rocked the clubs but the airwaves as well on 106.7 The Casa. Marvel has steady been creating his own brand of mash ups which are always posted on his website, djmarvel.podomatic.com.
