4ONEPHONICS

In the winter of 2005 veteran Bay Area turntablists Teeko and Max Kane of 4onefunk (4onefunk.com), a world renown bay area dj collective, connected with drummer Austin Bohlman and keyboardist Colin Brown of the Monophonics (Monophonics.com), a 7 piece Bay Area instrumental funk band, eventually forming the 4onephonics.
Members of 4OnePhonics have shared the stage with artists such as KRS1, Gangstarr, Busta Rhymes, Galactic, The New Mastersounds, Camp Lo and Qbert.
Driven by the success of Teeko's newly released album "My SoundStation" (awarded for Innovative Production by Berklee Music Academy), the group has been playing to packed houses since their first performance in 2006 with appearances from Dstyles, Kenny Brooks, Mike Boo, B.Cause and various members of the Monophonics.
With the Monophonics debut album set for summer of '07 and Teeko's album topping college charts, the 4onephonics plan to bring their sound worldwide continuing to represent true innovation and the Bay Area's renown funk aesthetic.
