Paul Carpenter

Paul Carpenter dj nasce il 16 aprile del 1981 a Tricase (Le) e vive fino ai 18 anni in un paese di ca. 12.000 abitanti di nome Ruffano (Le). Inizia la sua avventura come dj nel 1994 all'età di 13 anni; con il supporto dei genitori e con qualche lavoretto estivo riesce a procurarsi i primi tanto sudati giradischi e con essi comincia a far sentire la sua musica in piccole feste di paese.
Passano gli anni e Paul cambia città due volte, prima Firenze e poi Bologna (dove vive tuttora), lavorando in diversi locali e radio. Il "lancio" vero e proprio lo ha avuto nel settembre del 2003 quando è approdato a Radio International (Bologna), dove svolgeva la funzione di regista radiofonico è dj.
Nel 2005, insieme ad altri deejay, collabora ad un programma di musica house mixata intitolato "MIXING IN ACTION" (in quell'anno il programma è stato trasmesso in 25 radio in tutta Italia).
Oggi collabora con l'amico Jonatha Barbieri nel progetto FUTURA FM, radio sul web nata dalla voglia di mettere in pratica tutto quello che Paul Carpenter ha imparato in questi anni. Qui cura la programmazione musicale e il programma house "HOUSOLOGY" dove suonano vari dj provenienti da ogni parte d'Italia e non solo (il programma è trasmesso anche in FM su 20 radio italiane e 1 spagnola).
A novembre del 2007 inizia un'altra importante collaborazione con "ALTERNATIVE SOUND PLANET", casa discografica con diverse etichette musicali nel panorama house: FRAGILE - TAKUMA RECORDS - SPECTRA.
Dopo tutte le esperienze trascorse Paul Carpenter cerca sempre di migliorarsi e dare il massimo, sia per se stesso che per la gente che crede in lui.
Paul Carpenter Dj was born in Tricase (Le) on April 16, 1981, and lives in a small town of about 12000 inhabitants called Ruffano(Le) until his 18 years old.He begins his adventure as a dj in 1994, at the age of 13, when thanks to his parents and some summer jobs he can finally buy some record players and play at some town parties.
As years go by, Paul changes city: first he moves in Florence, and then he moves in Bologna(where he still lives) and keeps playing in clubs and radios.But his first real success arrives in September 2003, when he starts working for Radio International(Bologna) as a dj and wireless director.
In 2005, together with other deejays, he collaborates at the mixed house music radio programme called “MIXING IN ACTION”(transmitted in 25 radios of Italy that year).
Today he collaborates with his friend Jonatha Barbieri at the FUTURA FM project, web radio born by the willing of Paul of putting into practice what he learned during the years. He devotes himself to the musical programming and to the house programme “HOUSOLOGY”, in which various italian and foreigners deejays play their records.(The programme is available in FM too on 20 italian radios and one spanish radio too).
In November 2007 he begins a collaboration with “ALTERNATIVE SOUND PLANET”, an important record company that includes important house labels: FRAGILE – TAKUMA RECORDS – SPECTRA.
After all these experiences Paul Carpenter keeps playing, improving, and giving his best for himself and the people who believes in him.
