Simon Hochberg was born in Providence, Rhode Island in December 1991. He fucked around and did nothing in Cambridge, England and Menlo Park, California and Sunnyvale, California until he got a guitar during Thanksgiving 2002. It was a 1/2 birthday 1/2 Hanukkah present. He didn't do anything with that guitar until sixth grade when he played for sixth months when he quit because he sucked, he didn't like it, and it got in the way with his baseball. He played a little over the 2003 summer with his homeboy Ryan Pelosi but still sucked. Then he met Goh Nakamura. Goh was Simon's teacher for a little over two years, teaching Simon the majority of what he knows today. Goh also sent the message to Simon that playing pop music is ok, that not all pop is trash on the radio. Simon got his first electric on July 2, 2005 and began playing that mothafucka daily. In the summer of 2006, he replaced his acoustic with an Epiphone Masterbilt dreadnaught and that could arguably be the beginning of the modern era of Simon Hochberg music. Recording hit full force freshman year with Simon writing songs for all kinds of different people, including quasi-sexy shadowing students at his ridiculous little prep school that he loves very dearly and is the president of his class at. panther pride ya dig? anyway, he broke onto the high school music scene in november 2006 with a rousing performance at Artist Harvest 2006 as a member of the outfit TLG. He hit the internet with his original songs in spring 2007 and has been recording every little whim that has come into his head since. He spent the summer of 2007 at camp writing and preforming loads of great songs.
