Music: playing it, writing it, listening to it, and now recording it! Between my dad and I, we have probably around (now this is just an estimate) 500-700 CD's. I love buying CD's, sometimes of bands I've never even listened to. Sometimes those CD's can suck pretty bad, but every once in awhile they're awesome. Last year alone, I bought about 50 CD's (more or less). I play guitar. Mostly electric, but I grab my acoustic whenever I see it lying around. I've been playing for 4-5 years. I played bass for over a year and had gotten pretty good, but I found it to be too boring/restricting, so I've quit pretty much. I just could never get into it like I have been with guitar. I love finding out about new bands. Well, they're actually old bands that I've never heard before and we've had the cd all along, but I just never liked them before. And I hate it when a cd I want is like $40 because it's rare as hell. Not cool. I like going to the beach and bodying surfing, haha, and stayin tan and reading Greek Mythology, and that's about it, for the most part.
Uhhhhh... I don't know
70's-80's rock/metal/thrash/progressive/power metal. I finally got the balls to pick up The Odyssey by Symphony X, and it's amazing. They do a 24 minute song...The Odyssey, that may be the best song ever. Anthrax, Fates Warning, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Coroner are all tied for my second place slot. Other than those I can sometimes be caught listening to all of these other bands which I have updated recently so there are quite a few more than before:
AC/DC, Accept, Aerosmith, Alcatrazz, Alice Cooper, Armored Saint, Bang Tango, Billy Idol, Black Label Society, Black Sabbath, Blind Guardian, Blue Murder, Blue Oyster Cult, Bon Jovi, Boston, Bullet Boys, Candle Box, The Cars, Cinderella, Cream, The Cult, David Lee Roth, Deep Purple, Def Leppard(early suff only), Dio, Dokken, Eagles, Edguy, Eric Clapton, EZO, Faith No More, Fate's Warning, Frank Marino, Guns N Roses, Helloween, Icon, Jason Becker, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Judas Priest, like 2 songs from Kansas, King Diamond, Krokus, LA Guns, Led Zepplin, Living Color, Loudness, Lynch Mob, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mahogany Rush, Megadeth, Metal Church, Metallica(early stuff only), Michael Schenker Group, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Mr. Big, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Ratt, Rush, Scorpions, Skid Row, Slaughter, Steve Vai, a little bit of Styx, Sword, Ted Nugent, Tesla, Testament, Thin Lizzy, Tom Petty, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, WASP, Whitesnake, Winger, Yngwie Malmsteen, ZZ Top
Action/Adventure movies are probably my favorite. Love those Bruce Lee, Jet Li, and Jackie Chan ass kickin movies, and those cheesey Van Damme and Swarzanegger (haha, that is soo misspelled)ones too. I prefer older movies (79'-98') as opposed to newer ones. They're never as good. Highlander, Leathal Weapon, Blade Runner, The Matrix, all 3 Indiana Jones. Comedy is next: Almost anything with Jim Carey or Leslie Nielson in it. National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1, Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Airplane, Kung Pow, Ace Ventura, just to name a few.
SCRUBS. I'm always on the look out for the metal videos on VH1 Classics. Seinfeld, Simpsons, that's about it.
I'll pretty much read any type of mythology. I finished The Odyssey and the Illiad by Homer and I read Edith Hamilton's Greek Mythology almost twice. I really like Action/Adventure and Fantasy novels but only certain types like my Conan set.
Probably my dad. He works all day every day for his family and I admire him for that.
