Long anticipated album release

About Me

Truly remarkable and a musical genius of sorts, is what you can call this talented and gifted musician, producer, songwriter. Frank is a rare talent that comes along every once in a while. although his main instrument of choice is the piano/keyboard, this gifted musician is truly a jack of all trades that plays bass, drums/percussions on a professional level as well. He's also at home in the studio behind the console writing or producing, and is quite the business man as well in running and operating his own record label and productionFrank got his start in music at the early age of six, where his first musical passion was realized and expressed through the drums. At the age of 8 he was accepted to the Emerson School for the Visual and Perfoming Arts, ironically as an artist. It wasn't long before the director of music realized he had a rare talent and Frank double majored in both music and art. As his gift continue to come into fruition, he began to soley pursue music.By age twelve, Frank was already competing in Statewide Band competitions with musicians on the high school level and placed first in the 4 years he competed. At age sixteen he had already recorded on album projects with various local choirs and groups . Frank also found a revelation in what he would come to call the 3 E's (essentials) drums, bass, and keys. His revelation was that all music foundation is produced and functions around these vital instruments. At this time Frank also began to go into indepth study of these 3 instruments, and today he plays all three on a professional level."Most people that play more than one instrument, play a certain percentage of that particular instrument", Frank says. "If someone plays both drums and bass, they may be effecient on the bass at a 50% level, and drums maybe on a 70% level. "this holds true to the saying "jake of all trades, master of NONE". "It was my passion to accomplish the ability to be 100% effecient at all 3." To be as skilled as anyone that play these instruments as their sole prefered instrument is my motivation and drive. It was at this time he began to pursue and study what would come to be known as his heart of passions the Piano, this is where he found his true gifting. He continued to pursue his love for music on the college level, but chose to postpone til a later date to pursue touring and recording with various Jazz and gospel artist. In 2006 Frank completed his Bachelors of the Arts in music at the University of North Texas. Because of his unique ability, Frank has toured, recorded, and worked with some of the music industry's big names in both the Jazz and gospel genre's. He's worked with such artist as Bishop TD Jakes, Marvin Sapp, Darwin Hobbs, Joy Hill, , Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown, George Duke Eric Darius, just to name a few .He is currently touring and have completed 2006/2007 tour dates with jazz Saxophonist, Dave Koz , and have completed his long awaited debut smooth jazz album appropriately titled "Worth the Wait".. and has gained much attention and notice from various labels and noted jazz artist. He is currently working on his new smooth jazz project intitled "RAIN".."the Experience... which will be nationally released under the Narada Jazz label as well as his own Nu Groove Music. the Album is set for release in April 2008. On this project, Frank sets out to accomplish the goal of recording all live bass, drum/percussion, keyboard and solo piano tracks.
