About Me

In 2007, AmariM released the project 'Vibes from the Inner Garden', a collaboration with Atlanta's Grooves Back Productions' Reggie 'KSon' Cason. 'Vibes' takes the listener on a poetic journey of topics on life, love, and the human condition. The overall sound has been described by listeners as eclectic, smooth, and jazzy; reminiscent of the 80's and 90's with a modern twist. The track "Blow Your Mind" is currently played on the independent circuit in the UK and has received favorable reviews. Additionally, songs from the project appear on Air Mauritius, Colours TV and other cable networks, and the documentary film 'Alzheimers: Death by Dementia'.
The collaborative juxtaposition of AmariM's lyric's, vocals and arrangements combined with KSon's music on 'Vibes' derived from a chance meeting that eventually led to creative exploration through a few tracks, and eventually exploded into the project "Vibes from the inner Garden". When asked about what the title of the project actually means, AmariM explains "The unique intricate beauty of a garden can only be appreciated up close and personal. People are the same way. 'Vibes from the Inner Garden' is a statement to the qualities and inner beauty that lives in all of us. Those qualities that go sometimes unnoticed, are sometimes nourished; sometimes neglected, sometimes abused, sometimes respected". Hopefully the songs will speak to you in some way, make you smile or reminisce, but most importantly put you in touch with your own inner garden.
