About Me

The Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps (BSVAC)was created in response to the crisis in emergency medical service that afflicts New York's minority communities. BSVAC is the nation's first minority-run volunteer ambulance corps- founded in 1988 by two EMS workers, Captain James Robinson and Specialist Joe Perez. It is in dire need of help. It is our goal to create awareness.
