About Me

I've been part of Port Townsend's Rhododendron Festival since 2002. I enjoy being a "Rhody Mom" every year. Probably will until I can't do it anymore. I help the young ladies with their public speaking, make up, how they carry themselves and escort them to and from a dozen or more parades around the state of Washington and Oregon. We start the whole process every November and takes about five months to complete. All of this training leads up to our Coronation in March, where one is crowned as Queen. I enjoy watching the interaction the Royalty has with the crowds, especially the looks on the little people's faces as our float drives by. That is the reason why I do this. If you're wondering how I got my name, the Rhododendron Royalty from 2006 started calling me "Momma G" one day. So very proud of themselves, I must say. I enjoy all of this, it's what keeps me young. I feel I have found my purpose in life, and that is, helping young ladies gain confidence through our program. If you're past royalty from Port Townsend or Washington state, let me know. I would love to hear from you.found this flowers layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com

My Interests

Eating chocolate while driving my corvette. It doesn't get much better than that. Watching the Seattle Seahawks play. Someday, I hope I get the chance to see them play in person.

I'd like to meet:

Past royalty, nice people and anyone with a corvette. The Seattle Seahawks would be nice too.

Music:

Depends on how I feel when I wake up.

Television:

I'm a very busy person who isn't home that much. On the weekends, if I'm home, I rent movies.
