Funny how some memories stay with you for a lifetime.....Standing in line at a Rangers-Red Sox game about 2 years ago waiting for a hotdog and large Coke, a man started a conversation with me about the Rangers and their struggles when the temperature got hot. Some small talk about me and where I was from and so forth. He went on to tell me about things that were important in his life and some of his accomplishments. One in particular was the Homeless Shelter he had established a few years earlier. He went on to tell about how he lost over $100,000 a year keeping it open. He said it was one of his greatest achievements of his life. Another man standing next to me and my brother looked at him and said "how can losing that much money be an accomplishment". The man shrugged his shoulders and said "if you don't know, then you NEVER will".The man was Tom Hicks, owner of the Texas RangersBIGGIE SMALLS sang about that and it meant the same thing to him.LIFES ABOUT IMPRESSIONS--THE ONES YOU MAKE AND THE ONES YOU LEAVE
