Blue Tattoo was founded in 2005 by vocalists Vicky Vox and Ralph Messino.
Both wanted to create a band not only playing a programme of 80ies Hard Rock’n Roll cover songs in local clubs and venues. They wanted to have a band that really rocks the stages. Right from the beginning the great plus of the band was authenticity and a great variety resulted simply by the fact that Blue Tattoo would be a double-fronted band with female and male vocalist. So they went out searching for the guys who dreamed the same dream.
Soon Gerald on Lead Guitars and Nikki Stixx on drums joined the band. Unfortunately
sometimes things don’t work out the way they should. Because of family reasons guitar player Gerald left before the band had entered stage for the first time and was replaced by BB in June 2006. Secondly the place on bass had to be renewed in 2007. While touring through the country and after a long journey of searching and rehearing several guys the right man still wasn’t found. But the band kept the faith and decided either to call it a day or move strongly forward. In late 2007 finally Ralf joined the band and now the new line-up is better and more energetic than ever before!
While travelling and playing on “Legends never die Tour†in southern Germany the band is looking forward to write own songs within the next year.
