Playing with pop-culture...and breaking it!

About Me

The hardest punching fighter in the land. The most silent of ninja assassins. The most apple splitting of the people who shoot arrows at apples. The most alert of people who rise from the dead at 7a.m. Proud owner of the cleanest room west of the Mississippi. The one who has all the answers to the questions the wise men wont tell you because they think you will be better off if you figure it out yourself. These things do NOT describe me. I am an average fellow. Your run of the mill creative artist guy, a painter of things, a blabber of words. All of this wrapped up in a small ego. How does it all fit?

My Interests

drawing, painting, making guitars, enjoying friends, watching movies, anime, sci fi, music, playing bass (badly).

I'd like to meet:

The list is long some days. Short on others, but always open.

Comments, Anyone?

Music:

I have a ten disc changer in the trunk (please do not steal this one, I like it a lot). I'm not bragging mind you, it just goes to show that I like lots of different styles. I have favorite bands, but one does not reign supreme. I guess you could say it depends on my mood. I could be rolling along in the car listening to something slow one moment, get cut off and be listening to something far more hostile the next. Yes, the music store people look at me strange when I come strolling up to the counter with Billie Holiday,SlipKnot, Korn, Norah jones, Mudvayne, & the titanic Soundtrack all in the same shot...and no, "My heart will go on" did NOT make it to the MP3 player.

Movies:

Oh I love these. What a great way to check out of a rough day. I like most types of movies, save Horror. By that I mean slasher movies. I'll see the others. I too thought that I was going to die in 7 days after seeing The Ring. While the list is too long to put down in total, I will give a fond nod to the 5th Element. While the sound, story, an effects were good, I like the way it was edited together! Another of the favorites is Serenity.

Television:

I dont do much of this... really. Firefly. There are a few shows that I try to catch, Firefly. American Chopper being one. it lifts my spirits to know that disfunctional people like me can create really cool stuff. generally shows about people making stuff.I like many shows on Discovery and History channel. Everything else is pretty much on DVD. I love Anime. Bring back FIREFLY Dammit! Lost is good too. Have you seen Jericho? You might want to.

Books:

I have heard of these. I know that they can be both amusing and informational. I know they were once made of paper. I have writen one or two (hasn't helped my spelling though). I own a few, about the Titanic. They look really neat on my shelf where they reside permanantly.

Heroes:
