I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I’m a thirty-something mother of two children and military wife. I’m an aspiring author trying to start and complete my first novel. It’s hard to do with so very little free time, but I’ve recently decided to do it.
I also have a taste for photography which my husband recently boosted by buying me a very nice semi-professional camera. My favorite subjects I draw inspiration from are my children. I also love taking pictures of landscapes and my surroundings. A friend recently has boosted my confidence even more and has tried to convince me to put some of my photos up for others to view. Hopefully I’ll be able to add these very soon. It’s all about time management!
For fun I like to write in role playing games. I’ve dropped most of my online group time to one Harry Potter RPG and I and a few of my friends are trying to get a Twilight one going. Though, that probably won’t happen until the final book Breaking Dawn is released.
Reading is also something I do when I can grab a spare minute from family and writing – writing being my true passion. Lately my obsession has moved onto the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. Though, I still love to read the classics and whatever captures my fancy at the moment. I’ve also been reading a friends novel-in-progress and giving her feedback as much as I can, which isn’t much, and I find I enjoy that as well.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

What Tarot Card are You?
