My name is Livia and I'm a singer/songwriter from London, UK. I've led a bit of a bizarre life to be honest, which would take far too long to go into, but lets just say that I believe everything happens for a reason and what I've experienced has led me to where I am now, so for that I am grateful.
I grew up listening to a huge range of music - everything from Rock to World to Latin to Pop to Metal to Folk and all that's in between. I can't remember actually ever being without music and the rare occasions that it has slid into the background have been the most depressing of my life. It's in my blood, it's in my soul, thats about the best way to describe it. I was born in England but I am part Italian, part French and I try to use elements of everything I have absorbed over the years and blend it into my music.
I started writing songs about 10 years ago and since then it has been a crazy journey of self discovery, working with some amazing people, going through some shit times and some great times and being around some interesting underground scenes that has led me to create the songs that I have now.
I love the mystical and magical and the subtleties in life that are often overlooked. I am influenced by the supernatural. Dont get me wrong, I'm not completely 'out there', but I have seen enough to know there is more than meets the eye. We are capable as humans of a lot more than we realise and I keep an open mind.
The last year has been really weird for me. I feel like I've come such a long way and yet I'm still in the same place if that makes any sense? Either way, I know what it is I have to do now, what's really important and for me that is to make music. What happens with that is up to you I guess.
