T Lakhi

Getting her first taste of creating music at nine years old, Tasha also known as T Lakhi found her love for writing in a musical form through the piano. Teaching herself while learning small techniques from her grandmother, family and friends quickly heard her natural talent. Soon after, she moved to creating music in a lyrical form at age eleven writing songs and poetry. At twelve she learned to play the drums and other percussion instruments by joining her school band. Still exploring her infatuation with music she started a musical group with Ashley M. (Vocalist) and went to the next level of creating music through Pro-Audio. There she found her calling making her first beat at age 17. Soon after she hooked up with rapper Lil V in 2006 working exclusivley to produce tracks for her. Later in 2007, T Lakhi along with Lil V hooked up to create and jumpstart the frontline of Hungry Cats Records. Expanding to another facet of her talent, she went to rapping in December 2007 and is working on writing and co-producing her upcoming debut album and collaboration album with Hungry Cats Records. “I just want to live music. Everything I am is music. All styles, all genres. I love them all. That’s why my beats are always different.
