About Me

I have lots of interests but no time to spend on them. I drive a school bus part of the day and the rest of the day is dicatated by "have tos". If I could, I would spend more time painting and sewing - primarily piecing quilt tops. I have four grown children- three boys and a girl, and four grandchildren - also three boys and a girl. They are all great unique people. My daughter-in-law is like a daughter. We share an interest in quilting and she has become very good at it in a very short time.

My Interests

My husband and as I said, my kids, grandkids, painting and sewing.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who loves to organize things that isn't afraid of massive challenges. My house would be a happier place if it were tamed.

Music:

I like most music. I don't care for much country, depise rap, and most hip hop. I like Hinder, 3Doors Down, Shinedown, 3 Days Grace,Foo Fighters, Green Day, some other current bands, and all the oldies.

Movies:

Just about any chick flick, The Departed, Holiday Inn, (yes that was a movie), Romancing the Stone (oh yeah, that was a chick flick too), Close Encounters of the Third Kind (romantic reasons - it was the first movie I saw with my husband), and a Night At the Museum

Television:

Monk, Psychee,Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, My Name Is Earl, Supernatural, What Not To Wear, Trading Spaces

Books:

Aztec, anything by Nora Roberts or Jude Deveraux (Both chick flick potentials), Gone With the Wind

Heroes:

Steve Davis, (my husband who has amazing srength), my parents who always showed grace under fire. My daughter who reminds me of the golden rule, and my sons in whom I see promise and determination.
