ION CHANNEL

ION CHANNEL is the side project of ERIC WOOD (Man Is The Bastard / Bastard Noise / AmberAsylum) and LEILA RAUF (Saros / Bastard Noise / AmberAsylum). The project was spawned from a BASTARD NOISE recording session where Rauf joined them as a guest vocalist in December 2006. Though similar in texures to BN, it was apparent that the ideas forged between Wood and Rauf were distinct enough to warrant the birth of a separate project, along with the brilliant input of producer/engineer KEVIN KIPNIS (Kommunity FK, Purr Machine). While still loyal to the tradition of SKULL electronics, this space has been created for the loving duo to take “power noise” to other levels combining a vast array of influences, both conventional and non-conventional.
