Hello, and welcome to my recently established myspace site. I am a guitarist with a wide array of influences and interests...I first began playing guitar at the age of five. After learning a few basic chords, and switching to trumpet at age eight, I rediscovered the guitar at age twelve. By age fourteen, I was practicing eight hours a day and digesting as much music as humanly possible. I spanned out into jazz and classical music. During these formative years, I took private lessons from such noted guitarists as: Frank Gambale (Chick Corea band), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger), Steve Kahn (Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Saturday Night Live), among many others. I also took master classes and taught at the National Guitar Workshop.I excelled in classical music during my time at SUNY Fredonia and performed works by Bach, Villa-Lobos, Sor, Torroba, Paganini, etc. in recitals for faculty members, students, and the general public. I’ve done session work and taught guitar privately for over fifteen years in a variety of styles including: jazz, classical, rock, metal, new-age, etc. During this time I was a member of the progressive metal band "Senebyss" with fellow guitarist Jeff Cummings (Symfira).I’m a founding member of the progressive rock band “Mind Sky†and have performed with: Gamalon, Izz, Frogg Café, and Land of Chocolate, among others.
