.. Welcome to the North Herts CAMRA Young Members MySpace page! My name's Gemma and I'm the new Young Members Co-ordinator. I'm a relatively young, relatively sane real ale and cider drinker here to encourage all you fans of real ale to get out there and discover as many pubs and ales as you can!Support for CAMRA in the campaign to preserve and encourage real ale, cider and perry in traditional, well maintained pubs is ever growing, and 6+%of Camra members are 30 or under. The CAMRA Young Members Group (YMG) seeks to banish the myth that links Real Ale with Big Beards and Woolly Jumpers!I want to show that Real Ale drinkers know how to enjoy ourselves by having Young Members events throughout the year!

My Interests

Cider! Perry, Real ale, socialising and having a jolly good time.

I'd like to meet:

Like-minded young individuals who can go out for a drink and enjoy it, rather than feeling like it has to be drunk in 10 seconds (which in fairness if you're on some pishy lager it's better to down it!). God this sounds a bit dating agency... I just want to meet and encourage younger people to enjoy real ale, cider and perry!

Movies:

Loads, I have a 500 strong DVD/video collection... not that I'm ever in to watch them. Highlights include The Graduate, Devil's Advocate, Grease 1 + 2, Murials Wedding, Drop Dead Gorgeous, the list goes on...

Television:

Crime and Investigation Network, so interesting! Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, generic beeb comedy panel shows, America's Next Top Model.

Books:

Good Beer Guide! Get all my "where to go on a Saturday night" info there. Historical texts for my college course, currently focusing on witchcraft, and true crime books.

Heroes:

CAMRA members who set this whole thing in motion, and generating the following it has, and Eddie Izzard.
