Influences: ANQUI, born and raised in the underground, grew up in the experimental and wonderful city of Oslo, in an ambient formed by different kinds of peoples and cultures – all in which have influenced her as an artist, inspiring her to come up with new vocal techniques and imaginative creations.
At a young age Anqui was already into musical performances and competitions, which made her grow faster as an artist. In the search for a unique style, she continued working on her voice, widening her vocal range, and getting to know the real culture of Soul, R&B and of course Hip Hop.
Now at the age of 21 her experiences are already starting to pay off; being able to adapt herself to practically any style, and mastering the art of improvising at its fullest.People will soon be enjoying the vibes of this great artist, who is now also working to improve in Spanish songwriting, hence her lyrics so far only have come out in English. From now on, Anqui, who lives and creates all her vibes in the city of Barcelona, will be trying to reach all these little places where you can hear a little taste of her soulful voice ways; she will work harder to make her dreams comes true, "trying to touch something inside of every single person that listens to her music".
