About Me

An Earthling, momentarily.
I practice and teach Chen family Taijiquan. I am a 20th generation disciple of Master Chenyu of Beijing China, where I lived for a few years and trained on a daily basis. I also trained in the past with Chen Jinhong in Chen Taijiquan, and Feng Zhiqiang in Chen Taijiquan in Beijing, as well as a bit of Yin style Bagua with He Jinbao of Beijing. I run a small traditional yet creative Taijiquan martial art school in Salem, MA (USA). I teach students personally in the traditional long term practice development of Taijiquan for life force cultivation, self defense, general health/fitness, character building and community. We have a website that is: www.taijigongfu.com
I am a musician. I began playing guitar around the age of 16 I guess and later played saxophone, drums, and others. I play many kinds of music including free improvised music, reggae, jazz, folk, soul, blues etc. I have a myspace band site that has some examples of recent work. CLICKHERE
