In the summer of 2006 Anders Björklund (trendy cafe developer) bought the old restaurant Sahlene. Patric Andersson (from earlier Pontus-Patric, duo behind club concepts El, Le, Bästis, Bubbla, Jazzroom and the Nightclub Berns enormous success ) where contacted and contracted to develop a concept where great food, music and art could meet.The new restaurant Republik opened in august 06, and since then the restaurang & bar have been providing Stockholm with great experiences.
Republik has the ambition to be a funky local hangout that attracts people from all over Stockholm, Sweden and the world.
