About Me

Hakim is a Behaviour Improvement Programme Mentor, workshop facilitator and community organiser. He is the Co- founder and CEO of the London based Black StarLine. Hakim has been implementing educational and mentoring programmes within primary/secondary schools, pupil referral units and various youth agencies since 1998. He has also organised programmes dealing with so-called gang conflict, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse/abuse throughout various boroughs within the UK. Hakim is also a consultant and project events manager for numerous community organisations, groups, companies and government institutions promoting social change and awareness. Hakim has been a broadcaster/radio host since 2002 delivering a pioneering and dynamic talk/information show on community radio. He can also be heard on a regular basis on mainstream and community radio as a guest representing social activism.
