This is an Art Attack! This is an Art Attack... This is ART ATTACK!

About Me

After reading my interests and taste in music and films, as well as looking at my photos and other parts of my page you may know quite a lot about me.Other than that I live in Sydney, am 20, was born in Hong Kong, have a brother, love travelling, spent a month in Nepal and India in December, love music more than anything (was in Sydney band Mercy Arms if you are looking for a bass player), frequent the beach, take photographs, use my skateboard on the odd occasion.I apologise if you didn't want my life story...---------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------It seems that people are becoming lazier when it comes to "Friend Requests", therefore if you want to be my friend, I would find it a lot more helpful if you were to send me a message (telling me why you want to be my friend) instead of simply clicking the "Add to friends" button on my page. Many thanks, Alex.

My Interests

I like playing bass, skating, listening 2 music, socialising with music involved; going to gigs, going to underground clubs and parties wherever good music can be heard. Art; painting, drawing and photography, daydreaming, going to the beach, snowboarding, travelling and meeting new people.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who can write music so well that it lasts centuries after they have gone...People like The Who, The Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Ian Curtis (I know he's dead), Anton Newcombe, Steve Coogan, Robert Smith, Stefan Osdal, Brian Molko, Carlos D of Interpol and Bob Geldof; the man who organised Band Aid and then Live Aid which still stands to be the highest rating event telecast on television! Where does one find such inspiration? ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------------"Cont rol" Trailer - An Ian Curtis biopic from acclaimed photographer Anton Corbijn.Anton Corbijn interview.

Music:

First and foremost, I really DISLIKE emo, screamo or whatever you sad little kids are trying to sell to me. Please don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about coz I have been there and thank God I had a full rennaissance and recovered from that terribly horrid side of music... Each to their own, no disrespect, just not my cup of; tea, coffee or any other form of herbal or caffinated drinks you can come-up with. Good Day to you! Heroes:

Back when skating was a big rivalry competition I used to idolise Tony Hawk coz of all the publicity and aspired to that but now I have realised that it's just fun to skate and that I'll never b that good either, but that's just a minor factor in the grand scheme of things... Now I simply idolise those who can change musical direction for a better cause, people like Anton Newcombe who keep it going in the right direction and will never let good music fall over dead to the useless crap of boybands and groups who powerchord their way to stardom, great their rich but I hope there's a feeling in the back of their minds telling them that their music is boring and plain.
