Influences: MAYTE & THE FUNK ENSEMBLEwill performance at the theater "ciudad de Marbella" June the 24th at 22h. Apart from Mayte, the vocaliste, the band is composed by 7 menbers,Gabriel (pianiste, arrangements),Emiliano(guitar) Amando( bass) Ramiro (Drums),Luis( percussion),Menchu & Aurelio( background vocals). A local band with some members from Argentina & Cuba but spanish residents in Marbella and San pedro.Mayte is very well known all over the coast since she started with her spanish local band " Cuerpo Diplomatico", and participating in some of the Maurice Boland's shows, After that she has been working as a vocaliste and backing vocals with artist like Chaka-Khan, Bobby Kimball ( vocaliste from the american band "Toto"),Rob Davis( composer, producer of hits like "I can't get you out of my head" Kylie Minogue) and others. This project was born a year ago(she said),i've always wanted to make a show in a place like a theater with songs wich i've been growing with, and this year "the delegacion de cultura" offered me this opportunity to do it and i'm so grateful for that, also i'ts my 20th aniversary as a singer, so its very nice to be able to celebrate it in a place like this theater.
