The life unexamined is not worth living.

About Me

I LOVE writing about me. No, I don't, actually. I've been referred to as an oreo, I love spanokopita, I dabble in jazz flute -I'm not even warmed up! I believe one of the most profound things I have ever heard was said by our very own fearless leader of the free world. "...it is better to succeed with success than failure." -Inauguration speech, 2001. HA. Ok. If you can't apply those words to you in some way, what's the point of existence? So, taking it upon myself to heed these words, I have begun the Succeed with Success phenomenon. There is nothing better than a successful day made successful with success. I'm done. Now you know what inspires me. Honestly, I am a musician / singer / wierdo with a unique taste for individuality. Mom's black, Dad's white, I'm here... There's nothing better than live music, the company of friends, earth-quaking books, late-night unexpected phone calls, astrological chart readings, Goddess Trail Mix from trader Joe's... I think you've gathered that I don't necessarily walk the strait and narrow. I mean, anyone who shops at Trader Joe's is bound to be a little off. I've got a beautiful boyfriend who treats me with honest respect...who treats me like a lady... A handsome love of my life who I live with in little Mexico (Santa Ana)...See ya at home, Kev. I hope, with every fiber of me, that this little dissertation of mine has resulted in you furthering your knowledge of myself and perhaps, with all hope, wishing that you were just a little more like me. Oh how I wish for that. Naw, I'm just kidding. This was just a little something to put a smile on your face.
