I'm pleased to say that the Toe Knee record, "Songs, Stories, Skies" is finally done. As tends to happen, it turned into a much longer journey than I anticipated to see these songs make it to this point. It started with an all-day session back in August of '07, where Jarod Sheahan (keys) and Brad Babinski (bass) kicked some serious ass and laid down the skeleton for each of the songs. I came in the following day and laid down the drums, and thus the recording was off to a good start.
Recording happened off and on over the next year, squeezing into the cracks of Tadashi's busy studio schedule. It was a fun process, though, and I hope the result is an impactful listening experience for you.
