Stepping through my shadow, coming out the other side

About Me

Angels on the sideline, puzzled and amused. Why did Father give these humans free will? Now they're all confused.Don't these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around? Plenty in this holy garden. Silly monkeys, where there's one you're bound to divide it, right in two.Angels on the sideline, baffled and confused. Father blessed them all with reason and this is what they choose?Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground. Silly monkeys, give them thumbs they forge a blade and where there's one they're bound to divide it, right in two.Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground. Silly monkeys, give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.Cutting it all, right in two. Cutting it all, right in two. Cutting it all, right in two. Cutting it all, right in two.Fight over ground, over earth, over sky. They fight over life, over blood, over air and light, over love, over some, over none. They fight or they die, Over what? Over writing!Angels on the sideline again, Benched along with patience and reason. Angels on the sideline again, Wondering where this tug of war will end.Cutting it all, right in two. Cutting it all, right in two. Cutting it all, right in two. Right in two!Right in two.

My Interests

Music:

Good rock - not the bullshit that the radio loves to pump out - classic rock (of course), and some older rap.

Movies:

A long and distinguished list. I prefer psychological dramas, horror, andcomedy (good comedy at least.) Kubrick, Linklater, and Tarantino easily top the list

Books:

Good fiction; Orwell, Palahniuk, Easton Ellis, Remarque, Rand, Robbins, as a smattering... As far as non fiction goes I like stuff in the metaphysic/conceptual physics/philsophical realm.I love reading, there is nothing more therapeutic than sitting down with a good book.

My Blog

Am I the reincarnation of Lorenzo Valla?

If not we share a common psyche... "You undego death because you want your country not to die, as though in your death, your country did not become dead to you.  For the man deprived of his eyes,...

The Myth of Sisyphus

"It is during that return, that pause, that Sisyphus interests me. A face that toils so close to stones is already stone itself! I see that man going back down with a heavy yet measured step toward th...
