This is the Official MySpace Page for the
CK Poker League.
This is a group of friends that get together for a weekly poker night.
All of the players are connected by Country Kitchen in Mitchell, SD.
We use an Official World Series Of Poker 11.5 gram, 5 color, 500 chip set.
The League always plays $5.00 buy-in Texas Hold 'Em on the first game of the evening and the second game is the choice of the Hold 'Em winner.
This is a $1.00 buy-in, winner take all game.
Each game is a tournament style game with no re-buys.
Each player starts with 10,000 in chips for the first game,
5,000 in chips for the second.
Blinds start at 25/50 & builds from there for all games.
The League has a points system in place for each season of play.
Each "season" consists of 24 games over a 12 week period.
Each point is worth 100 chips at the Tournament of Champions
Texas Hold 'Em game at the end of each season.
To qualify, a player must have accumulated a total of 25 points or more.
Also, for each game, every player tosses a quarter into the jar. And for each Hold'em game, a minimum of $2.00 is raked for the prize pool.
This money is used to purchase prizes for the Tournament of
Champions game at the end of each season.

Every player that qualifies, receives some type of poker
themed prize during the Tournament of Champions game. The higher the finish in this Championship game, the better the awarded prize!
(this is why we ask for donations from different poker companies)
This money is in addition to the game buy-in amount.
