I plan to do something that you don't see very often these days, if at all. I am going to record an album with my friends. People that are both musically gifted and also admired enough by myself to call them a friend. The part that makes it unique is that I won't be selling this album... I'll be giving it away to people on the streets of Cleveland.
Reason?
So people can hear an album that wasn't recorded with the intent for profit or self gain in any way. Just music....
I hear professional musicians saying "it's all for the music, it's all for the music..." as I watch them roll around in expensive sports cars and lavish houses. You pay $55 to go see a concert that's "all for the music?"
I call bullshit - Free music is the only thing that should ever be considered, "all for the music" and I'm going to give it to you.
