I am Sophie. [:

McFLY
Danny Jones (guitar/vocals), Tom Fletcher (guitar/vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums) are McFly.
The McFly story and big break dates back to 2001 when Tom saw an advertisement in NME - a band were after one final member, and he fancied his chances. He got down to the final two but when the final place in that band - Busted - went to some guy called Charlie, Tom began his own deal with Busted’s manager’s own production label and McFly was born.
Tom stayed in touch with James and the pair started writing together – in fact, the name McFly was inspired by one of James’ early songs, ‘Year 3000’.
The arrival of Danny Jones as Tom’s partner meant the band was taking shape and it wasn’t long before the McFly pair were performing for people all over London. They continued to write with James of Busted and recorded a number of their songs – eventually playing them acoustically for key major labels and signing with Universal.
The final step was to advertise for more members with the help of adverts in the NME. The auditions found Harry and Dougie - who was so nervous that he literally threw up minutes before his audition. Finally the lineup was complete.
their debut album ROOM ON THE 3rd FLOOR...which is in the guiness book of records and was a record which was held by THE BEATLES previous to them.....their first uk number 1 single was 5 COLOURS IN HER HAIR...which was their debt single and after that UK number 1 the hits just started rolling in for the boys ~ OBVIOUSLY, double A side ALL ABOUT YOU & YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND and also I'LL BE OK notching up 4 number 1 single for the boys in just the space of a year or so... and their 2nd album WONDERLAND went to the top of the charts too...they also had the fastest sell out tour of 2005 which was the wonderland tour ....WHICH ROCKED BTW!!!....
and at the begining of the year there were rumours which was started by and un-named newspaper **cough The Sun cough**....that danny had requested time off from the band and was told no so he said he was going leave the band....DON'T WORRY tho...danny quickly reacted to these remarks and released a statement himself saying "he has never been happier, he is doing the job that he has always wanted to do, mcfly are at their peak and they have loads more to give and many years ahead of them and that the boys are like his family and they get on better than ever and he is excited about the forthcoming tour and album this summer, and that the band will go on as long as the fans want them" WHICH WE DO!! HEHE!!
McFLY appeared in a Lindsay Lohan movie called JUST MY LUCK in a bid to crack the states...which saw the release of their first US album aslo titled JUST MY LUCK...which has an exclusive track also called JUST MY LUCK haha!!....and from what i have seen it seems to be working from the boys , and as most of you may know
