You're judging my creativity now, aren't you?

About Me

Narcissists, such as myself should relish in the opportunity to talk about themselves...so why am I drawing a blank? I was coerced onto My Space by my younger sisters growing network of about 1,000 friends and I was feeling a little inadequate. Somebody love me! I'm also somewhat computer illiterate for a 29 year old woman.....growing up in the "technology age”.....who worked in Internet sales for over 5 years...you'd think I'd answer my e-mails, my My Space requests, my cell phone. Wait....that has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. Anyway, I live in NYC. The city that never sleeps, although I don't know where that came from because my friends and I all sleep. A LOT. When I'm not sleeping I love making play lists for my ipod, live music, spell check, converse low tops, VH1, a good book and a great bottle of wine. I could go on and on and on about myself but the space is due to run out shortly. I don't want to be like one of those people on stage whose speech is cut short by an overture or a commercial break...you know like at the Oscars or something? So I better end here.

My Interests

Music; friends; family; good food; good wine; great conversation; walking aimlessly with no destination or time frame; a cool breeze; a summer thunderstorm; HBO on Demand; my Senseo coffee maker; exploring a new city, a new friend, or a new side of my personality.

I'd like to meet:

John Lennon, John Keats, Elvis or any of their contemporay (and alive!) counterparts.

Music:

Loaded question! Anything and everything! Daniel Powter; David Gray; Tony Lucca; Will Hoge; The Beatles; The Rolling Stones; Fleetwood Mac; The Police; Counting Crows; Damien Rice; Gavin DeGraw; Patty Griffin; Ian Moore; John Lennon; Jay Z; Elvis; Wings; Journey; Handsome Boy Modleing School; Jack Johnson; Barenaked Ladies; Guster; U2...

Movies:

Lilo & Stitch is my favorite. I identify with Stitch. He's mischivious with a heart of gold and everything he touches he breaks. Grease; Clueless; The Sweetest Thing; The Princess Bride; Swingers; Breakfast at Tiffany's

Television:

Anything on VH1 (what ever happened to Pop-up Video and Rock & Roll Jeopardy? That was the only time I kicked ass on Jeopardy!) Seinfeld; Desperate Housewives; Real World; Real World/Road Rules Challenges; Ellen; The O.C. (guilty pleasure)

Books:

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genious, Dave Eggers ( it's, uh genious?); How to Lose Friends and Alienate Poeple, Toby Young (not my memoir, promise); Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (strangely accurate); 100 Strokes of the Brush Before Bed, Melissa P. (strangly erotic); Love is a Dog From Hell, Bukowski (just strange.)

Heroes:

John Keats, David Sedaris, Lennon/McCartney, anyone who knows "a lot" is two words. The genious who invented Dunkin Donuts Coffee, Chuck Taylor, John Hughes, David Neelemen (ok, I'm a bit of a suck up)

What NOT to do on 4th of July by Sarah, Carla & Julie

1.) Don't walk along the east river, intending on enjoying a panoramic & picturesque views of Roosevelt Island and lower Manhattan. The views you'll end up with are: road blocks, garbage barges, deto...
