About Me
Now for something completely original…
Once upon a time…. wait, let me start again. Ahem. It all happened on a dark and stormy night… (Yes, very good if I do say so myself…) The only exception being that it was daytime and sunny.
My name is Nutter VanPelt, and I am here to tell you the story of Arguably Insane. It all started when… What? What’s a Nutter VanPelt? It’s my name, you tit. Do I ask you what’s a Jeff or Roseanne? No, I don’t. Now if I may continue… where was I? Oh yes – Once upon a time, there lived two young boys named Joshua and Cameron. (Don’t you dare ask me what they mean.) These two dashing youngsters met in first grade, when Joshua noticed that Cameron had a fantastic looking Ninja Turtles action figure… It was blue and had the ability to shoot something out of its arms…. Water I think – as it was a half man, half stingray character. Quite neat, really…
But I digress. So, as Josh was about to sneak up upon the unsuspecting Cameron, knock him out and take his blue, half man, half stingray action figure, he was surprised to find something that resembled pity in his dark, cold heart. Therefore, instead of cold cocking first grade Cameron in the back of the head and taking the action figure for his own, Joshua decided to introduce himself. This proved to be a good decision, as Cameron and Joshua hit it off immediately.
From that day onward, Cameron and Joshua did something very unusual for children – they played outside. Yes, whether it be running atop monkey bars and waiting for someone to smash in their naughty bits, or having sledding destruction derbies, or pulling up roots and using them to whip one another, Cameron and Joshua happily enjoyed the out of doors.
The children expressed their imaginations by creating bizarre games. They entertained themselves by playing ‘Pirates and Indians’ as Chief Wackumoffa and his side-kick Nonads, only to move on to riding bicycles over the ever unsuspecting Mr. Banana-head. (If you’re thinking ‘what the F@!#?’ right now, then good, you’re still with me.)
Soon, Joshua and Cameron felt the need to document their idiocy on film. They began to hijack the camcorders of friends and neighbors in order to film whatever tickled them at the given time. As the two of them grew in age and stature, they began to take a more philosophical view at the world and at their films. Together, they began to write. Comedy, drama, tragedy and comedy, (all completely original, of course)… they wrote feverishly, whether it was in the form of a short story, a book or a script.
And so, as you can hopefully see, (although looking at you all, I wouldn’t put it past you) Cameron and Joshua had finally found their calling in life – entertaining themselves, and thereby (hopefully) entertaining others as well. Arguably Insane’s website is a route that friends, new and old, can go through to see and receive news about Joshua and Cameron’s latest endeavors.
Although Joshua and Cameron have grown to loathe the normality of the 9-5, they unfortunately still need to eat. Therefore, Cameron’s current occupation is with Barely Balanced, a traveling acrobatic show that seems to think that they are quite funny. Joshua, on the other hand, has been roving the countryside, unsure of what to do with a degree in biology. He has recently accepted a Park Guide position with the National Park Service. Joshua also thinks that he’s pretty funny, much to the embarrassment of anyone unlucky enough to be in his immediate vicinity.
Okay… that’s it… all you need to know… now git!
