An odd question perhaps, but in order to describe the music of MOON INHABITANTS you have to try to imagine something of the kind. Bassist Steve Wood and trombonist Philip Yaeger, Americans who grew up steeped in soul, R&B and jazz meet the fiery Slovenian saxophonist Jure Pukl and the powerful Kosovar-Albanian drummer Bajram Istrefi Jr., and it´s hard to say anymore who influenced whom, or where exactly the border between a fusion of styles and something actually new lies. The music ranges from atmospheric ballads to earthy grooves, between dense flights of group improvisation and crystal-clear themes. Between the Earth and the Moon.............!Presse Text
