Well I wanted to use regular photo snaps for my myspace profile no fancy stuff,.............. I've been around the globe a bit I was born in Anglesey, Wales, U.K. but have lived in England (twice), Scotland (Twice), Cyprus (Twice), Wales (more than twice), Hong Kong, Philippines, and Monte Carlo & France.............they were residences....not holidays or working trips, and am in Ireland now for the last 6 yrs......that just about covers it. I love playing Guitar and first seriously tryed to play my dads accousic when I was about 11 I think, I got my first Electric Guitar given to me when I was 14 (My dad gave me his old 1973 Gibson Les Paul) I think it was took another 2 years to get an amp though and I managed not the wreck the guitar and I still have it, although the frets are a bit worn out now, I first started playing it using a 1 pence coin for a pick cos we didn't have a music store localy..but since about the age of 15 I no longer use a pick (well very occasionally), ..took me a while to get good enough but I figure I can play just about what ever I want to now (17 years later), I'm a finger picker since almost the begining, simply because it feels more natural than relying on a piece of plastic (kept loosing the picks), and mostly self taught Dire Straits, Jeff Beck, Survivor Music, David Gilmour, Etc..............Clapton too......................................... What else can I say.... I'm Left handed but Play the Guitar Righthanded for 2 reasons, 1) my first Electric was right handed strung righthanded for my Dad, and 2)Mark Knopfler is also left handed but plays Right handed and said it puts his strong hand in the right place-the fretboard, as with Jimmy Hendrix was Righthanded but played left handed..... enough said............................................We each follow our chosen path, I would be here all day on a full bio, this is my beginings anyhow. how about you....yes you reading this?
